One hour Basking experience. Communal and Private Seats for up to 8 participants. Cold plunge experience in two roll top baths on the decking or cool down slowly and forest bathe on one of our handmade benches, the choice is yours. Please bring a towel to sit on and one to dry off. Drinking water will be available but bring your own if you wish. We have a half hour turn around so you wont feel rushed at the start or end of the experience. Really enjoyed our Forrest bathing & to have this facility onsite at campsite  was a plus. Gorgeous sauna in beautiful surroundings. The sauna itself was ideal - new wood aromas, pefect temperature (which we could control with water) and very peaceful. The cold dip baths we took twice within the hour mixed with the heat of the sauna left us feeling soothed and  relaxed for the rest of the day. The sauna is in a woodland glade, with decking surround, set well back from the campsite and was surrounded by bluebells and birds singing and the host, Nicola is kind and welcoming. The whole experience was fantastic . Would highly recommend.

My favourite sauna by far! Visited Bask Sauna's a few times now and keep coming back again. The sauna itself is stunning, and i love the cold plunge bath tubs. Plus the location of the sauna is something - you feel like you are in a tree house due to the canopy of the trees. Despite being in the campsite, feels very private, peaceful and a million miles away from it all.
Nicola is such a warm and welcoming host, and the campsite has loads of facilities and a fantastic coffe and food van. A trip to the sauna can be made into a full day out.

I didn’t think I could do the cold water baths but the host Nicola, really wanted us to experience the full experience and without being pushy, talked me through each step to get the best benefits. The hot and cold felt great and we had the most relaxing night and sleep afterwards. Fantastic wild sauna experience - my favourite so far!! The host Nicola was so welcoming, explained the set up clearly, and provided water and freshly cut orange slices which was super cute. The sauna was HOT which I love and we had great fun swimming in Lemahamish pool afterwards. A great end to a weekend of walking/hiking. Also, great changing facilities and the showers/toilets were an added bonus.

Terms and Conditions of use
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND IN FULL PRIOR TO BOOKING AND USING OUR FACILITIES. BY BOOKING AND USING THE SAUNA AND ALL ITS FACILITIES, INCLUDING THIRD PARTY FACILITIES ON THE CAMPSITE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW.
GENERAL
Use of the sauna, all onsite facilities and third party premises in entirety, are done so at your own risk. We reserve the right to refuse admission for any reason we may deem to be a health and safety risk. Refunds will no be offered to anyone who has been refused admission.

When making a booking on behalf of a group it is your responsibility to ensure all members of the group are aware of the terms and conditions and all other important information such as what to bring as well as all other useful information.

No children are permitted to use the sauna or Bask Sauna facilities. Strictly 16+. 

HEALTH RISKS
Use of the sauna is done so at all users risk. These risks include and range from, but are not limited, to bodily harm and adverse physical health events. It is essential you are aware of your own physical health and medical conditions which could impact, limit or prevent you using a sauna. Please do not enter the sauna if you:

•	Suffer from high or low blood pressure, heart or circulatory disorders, epilepsy or diabetes.
•	Have any other medical conditions that may be aggravated by sauna use.
•	Are pregnant.
•	Are prone to dizziness, fainting, or any other conditions that may impair your ability to use the sauna safely.

Please contact your GP or specialist medical practitioner for advice if you have any medical condition or underlying health problems, are taking any medication, have any form of enhancements such as Botox or implants but not limited to, fillers and silicone or have objects such as pins, screws and other medical devices fitted. You take full responsibility for ensuring you can use the sauna and all facilities. 

All users of the sauna and Bask Sauna facilities must know their own limitations and assume all risks associated with any activities in which they may engage in while at Bask Saunas entire facility. Please look after yourself and don't take any unnecessary risks, we want you to enjoy your experience. 

Please don't stay in the sauna for too long. We recommend starting off with 5 minute session and building up to 15 minutes before taking a cooling break or cold water plunge. Do not stay in the sauna for more than 20 minutes please.

Please leave the sauna if you start to feel dizzy, nauseous, uncomfortable or ill in any way.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations of a public session must be done so 48 hours, at a minimum, before session starts. This will allow for the space to be re-advertised and sold. Refunds cannot be given if less than 48 hours notice is provided.

Cancellations of private sessions must be done so 4 days in advance of session date, at a minimum. This will allow for the spaces to re-advertise and sold. Refunds can not be given if less than 4 days notice is given.

IN THE SAUNA
Consumption of alcohol is not permitted in the sauna or while using other facilities at Bask Saunas. No smoking or vaping permitted in the sauna or while using Bask Saunas facilities.

Before entering the sauna do not consume alcohol, smoke, ingest or inject drugs. We reserve the right to refuse entry if we become aware or suspect the use of substances. Refunds will not be offered to anyone who has been refused admission.

Cameras, phones and other recording devices are not permitted inside the sauna. If you wish to take pictures while using Bask Saunas outside facilities, please respect other users privacy and do not record other users without their explicit permissions.

Customers who cause damage to the sauna and Bask Saunas facilities will be liable for costs incurred.

In the case of a fire please leave the sauna immediately and inform sauna host of the fire.

Please do not touch any part of the stove, sauna stones, stone casing, chimney in its entirety, windows or vents. If more wood is required please let the sauna host know, do not open stove door or put anything on the stove or fire.

You can put a small amount of water on the sauna stones. To do this safely pour the water from the ladle gently, starting at the back of the stones or further away point, moving your arm towards your body. This will prevent scalding your arm. 

Please also always ask other sauna users if they are happy for you to add water. We have a soapstone bowl on the sauna stones, do not touch, add water to or remove this. There will be water in the soapstone bowl which is designed to keep a consistent humidity level therefore you will not need to add much water to the stones during your session.

Do not add any essential oils to the sauna stones or soapstone bowl. This will be done by the sauna host at the start of the session if all sauna users consent. Only then shall a small amount to be added to the soapstone bowl.

Do not touch or move the sauna Thermometer or Hygrometer. You can use the sand timer to monitor how long you have been in the sauna, however all users take full responsibility for timing their own sessions, bearing in mind not to stay in sauna for longer than 20 minutes. You will be asked to leave the sauna session by the host after one hour, please respect the request and leave promptly. 

COLD WATER PLUNGE
Using cold water plunge baths are done so at your own risk. Plunging the body into cold water triggers a sudden, rapid increase in breathing, heart rate and blood pressure known as the cold shock response. You must be aware of your own health and abilities to partake in this activity. The same policy applies here as were outlined in health risks section above. You take full responsibility for ensuring your health and well-being will not be negatively impacted by participating in the cold water plunge. 
Extra caution should be taken when entering and exiting the cold water baths, when waking on wet and slippery surfaces on the decking and in the sauna. 

Do not urinate in the cold water plunge baths or drink the plunge bath water.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Please keep personal belonging to a minimum when visiting Bask Saunas as we do not take any liability for loss or damage. We will provide water proof storage boxes for you to keep belongings in but cannot take responsibility for any damage or losses which may occur. 
Please ensure your sauna clothing does not have metal elements on them which may burn your skin.
Driving and parking your vehicle onsite is done so at your own risk.


Assumption of Risk and Liability

By using Bask Saunas Ltd, you agree to the following:

Acknowledgement of Risks: You acknowledge and accept that sauna use, plunge pool use, and activities on the premises involve inherent risks, including but not limited to burns, dehydration, dizziness, overheating, slipping hazards, and drowning risks in the plunge pools. You assume all risks related to sauna use, plunge pool use, and activities on the premises.

Health Representation: You represent and warrant that you are in good health and do not have conditions contraindicated for sauna or plunge pool use. You understand the necessity of consulting a healthcare professional if you are unsure about the impact of these facilities on your health.

Release of Liability: You release and discharge Bask Saunas Ltd, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliated parties from any and all liability for any injuries, health issues, or damages arising from sauna use, plunge pool use, or incidents occurring on the premises.

Waiver of Claims: You agree to waive any claims against Bask Saunas Ltd for injuries or damages resulting from sauna use, plunge pool use, or incidents occurring on the premises.

Compliance: You agree to comply with all posted rules and regulations. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in removal from the facility.

Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily assume all risks associated with sauna use, plunge pool use, and activities on the premises and surrounds, including drowning risks in the plunge pools, and agree to follow all safety guidelines.


Allergies and Cleaning Products: You acknowledge that cleaning products and chemicals used in Bask Saunas Ltd, including but not limited to chlorine and bromine in the plunge pools, may cause allergic reactions or sensitivities. Bask Saunas Ltd is not responsible for any adverse effects resulting from exposure to these substances. You agree to assume all risks related to allergies and sensitivities to cleaning products and chemicals.

Use of Steps: You acknowledge that using the steps to and from our sauna and plunge pools involves inherent risks. Exercise caution while using these steps, as they may be slippery or unstable. Bask Saunas Ltd is not liable for any injuries or accidents resulting from the use of these steps. You undertake all risks associated with their use.

Appropriate Footwear: You are required to wear appropriate, non-slip footwear while moving around the sauna area and using the plunge pools. Flip flops or other footwear that may become slippery when wet are not recommended and could pose a slip hazard. Bask Sauna Ltd is not responsible for any injuries resulting from inadequate footwear.

Payment for Damages: You agree to be responsible for any damages caused by you to Bask Saunas Ltd property or that of its related parties.

Insurance: You are responsible for any medical costs related to sauna or plunge pool use and are encouraged to undergo a medical examination prior to use.

Jurisdiction: This waiver and all associated terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.

Release, Waiver, and Indemnity: You, along with your heirs and assigns, release Bask Saunas Ltd and its related parties from all claims related to sauna or plunge pool use, and other activities on the premises and surrounds. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bask Saunas Ltd and its owner against any claims arising from your actions.

Severability: Should any provision of these terms be found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.

Merger: This document constitutes the entire agreement between you and Bask Saunas Ltd regarding sauna and plunge pool use and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings.

Automatic Agreement: Entry into the sauna or plunge pool constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions, including the waiver of liability, even if a signed waiver is not obtained.

By making an appointment and using the sauna or plunge pool, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms, including the waiver of legal rights.
